OUR MISSION –
Row 2,700 miles across the Pacific Ocean, one of the world’s toughest seas – UNSUPPORTED.
Raise funds to build an updated on-site Health Centre at St Elizabeth’s, to support the 200+ vulnerable children and adults with highly complex health needs who live and study there.
Raise funds for Mathew’s Friends, a charity specialising in medical Ketogenic Dietary Therapies for Epilepsy and other disorders.
Raise funds and awareness for OCEAN PLASTIC POLLUTION.
Attempt to break a WORLD RECORD.
To work with our supporters so they feel part of our challenge.
OUR CHALLENGES –
Rowing “2 hours on, 2 hours off” for 24 hours a day, for however long it takes, hopefully less than 39 days!
Rowing the Pacific, the threat of danger is ever present…
40 – 50 foot waves, storms, sharks, the dreaded ‘Rogue wave’ means constantly living on the edge with the possibility of being capsized and thrown into icy waters.
A tiny boat with all necessities stored onboard allows for rowing, sitting, and sleeping… zero creature comforts.
Help, if needed, could be days away… we are on our own – UNSUPPORTED!
